3 Tips to Help you Shed those Last 8lbs Whilst Eating the Food You Love
If I had a pound for every time someone said to me, I am really struggling to get the last 8lbs off, well, I would be a very rich lady!!
So why do people struggle with the last 8lbs or do they? Our bodies are so unique and you really have to treat them that way. What works for your friends might not necessary work for you. That doesn’t mean to say that you will never shed those last few lbs, it just means you have to pay closer attention to how your body works.
These 3 tips I have found help shift the most stubborn of weight with a few of my clients and have got them the final results they were looking for.
- EAT!! – Starving yourself will send your body into panic zone and ultimately holding onto and storing fat – the complete opposite of what you want to achieve. My rule of thumb is, if you are hungry – EAT but keep it clean and lean.
- ACTIVITY – Up the intensity of your training. The chances are that your body is used to what you are doing now. For your metabolic rate to raise after exercise and to burn fat for longer, you need to really tax yourself when exercising. So ask yourself, are you really out of breath when you are training? If the answer is no, look at changing what you are doing. Just 4 sessions of 18min HIIT sessions will make a difference and the results will come. Check the FB page Here for some ideas and join in live with the sessions.
- Lifestyle – Are you drinking enough water, getting enough sleep and time out. A stressed body will start to store fat so ensuring you are well hydrated by drinking a minimum of 2Ls per day, 8 hrs of sleep and when was the last time you had a massage?
